Staffordshire’s celebrated County Chorus will feature in a special concert on Sunday 28th February to celebrate the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. The choir will present a selection of choral works based on the plays of Shakespeare and the evening will also feature items on a Shakespearian theme from two previous winners of Staffordshire’s prestigious Young Singer of the Year competition, Ed Robinson and Daisy Miller, and from the Concertante Strings of Staffordshire Youth Orchestra East.

The concert starts at 5.30pm and will take place in the elegant Victorian concert hall at Burton Town Hall. It will be conducted by David Lawrence, Associate Conductor of the CBSO Chorus, who has worked with a wide variety of major orchestras and choirs at home and abroad
