We hope you can make it along to the latest Sight, Sound and Social on Thursday 10th September at The Brewhouse; a free event, just drop in anytime between 7 and 9pm.
This is a chance to view our latest exhibitions and meet the artists who created them whilst enjoying some live entertainment and maybe a drink from our cafe/bar.
October’s Sight Sound and Social supports our exhibitions:
- Paul Hodson-Walker: ‘Contrast’ in The Bar Bistro Gallery
- Howie Johnson: ‘Sarawasti, Mist and Light’ in The Loft Gallery
- The Association of Contemporary Jewellers: ‘Sleight of Hand’ in The Craft Cases.
Our musical backdrop will be provided by Peter Goodyear on Sitar and Andrew Faint accompanying him on Tabla. Peter is returning for a second Sight Sound and Social as his music was so well received last time; visitors commented on what a great atmosphere the music created and how nice to hear something different.
In addition to this, we’ve free taster sessions for our forthcoming workshops. We have our App Lab, Photo Lab and DJ Lab workshops as well as taster sessions in Crochet, Dress making and Ukulele to sample throughout the evening.
Thanks to Anna Roebuck for the info.
