Presented by Inspiration School of Dance

Want to be inspired? Inspiration School of Dance present an evening of entertainment from many young talented performers. The show consists of a wide range of dance styles and themes which are full of emotion, excitement and enthusiasm. The routines are sure to set your feet tapping, your head bopping and face smiling, so don’t miss out!

Christmas Showcase

Presented by Theatre Cats

Celebrating 6 years of acting, singing and dancing – the students at Theatre Cats stage school would like to entertain you with an evening of songs from the shows, including Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Countdown to Christmas, High School Musical and Oliver. Our students aged 5-16 work so hard all year round, so please join us to celebrate!

Battle of the Pantos!

Presented by Performing Stars Academy

Santa has eaten too many mince pies and can’t fit down the chimneys! So he has organised an X-Factor style competition to help him choose the best group of kids to deliver the presents this year. Watch many short versions of well known pantomimes such as Peter Pan and a Christmas Carol as well as some fun and lively dances and lots of singing!

Sleeping Beauty

Presented by M&M Theatrical Productions

Sleeping Beauty is a classic M&M Theatrical Productions children’s pantomime! Everyone in the land was invited to the baby princess Aurora’s christening party…everyone that is except the evil witch Malificent! Malificent was so angry that she cast a wicked spell over the beautiful Princess Aurora. ‘Should the princess prick her finger on a spinning wheel before her 16th birthday her blood will run cold as her heart stops to tick’.

Peter Pan

The Mellow Dramatics are pleased to announce their next production: Peter Pan A Musical Adventure which is coming to Burton on Trent in January 2014.

Sir James Barrie’s timeless tale of the boy who never grew up is reborn as a spectacular Musical by Stiles and Drewe and the late Willis Hall bringing to life the magical world of Neverland.

A self-assembly Swedish crime thriller

It is bitter mid-winter. Ex-pop-star recluse Freya looks out of her log cabin at a rural winter scene. She smiles and turns back to her meatballs. But who is the strange Nordic walking across the frozen wastes? In a fur hat. With a chisel. Days later a man is found dead in a barn nearby with a bizarre message carved on his forehead.

Enter Inspector Sandra Larsson in her authentic, rustic knitwear. With her own personal life unravelling before our eyes, it is up to her to follow the pattern of a mystery with many holes.

My Darling Clementine

After a year of touring the UK, America, Canada and Scandinavia, Oct 2013 sees My Darling Clementine release their 2nd album, “The Reconciliation?” Recorded at the renowned Sheffield studio, Yellow Arch and produced by Colin Elliot (Richard Hawley, Duane Eddy, Jarvis, Kylie,) it features 12 new, stunning duets, plus special guest appearances from Kinky Friedman, The Brodsky Quartet & The Richard Hawley band. MDC will be on tour in Europe throughout the Autumn and Winter before heading back to the USA in March 2014. Their live show is spectacular, and has been the highlight of many festivals these past 2 summers.

Dusty Crophopper is a little cropduster plane with a fear of heights and a crazy dream of being a racer. While his friends need convincing, Dusty gets the training he needs from Skipper, a veteran fighter, and qualifies for the Wings Across the World race. In the event, Dusty finds competitors who soon learn that there is something special about this underdog as he is tested to his physical and emotional limits. In doing so, Dusty soon finds enemies, and more importantly friends, who are inspired by his dream. In the face of all obstacles, the winner of this air race will be anyone’s guess.

Monday 23rd December FILM CLUB

Nativity 2

This sequel to the popular British comedy sees a new teacher (David Tennant) take over. When he enters his school in the National ‘Song for Christmas’ Competition, he and his pregnant wife, and the schoolchildren, embark on an epic road trip that ends up with a birth and a donkey, where he must embrace his fears and become a hero.
