Burton Glee Club are an adult community based choir which began in 2011.
We have such a great time in rehearsals and now we would like to invite you
to our first charity concert raising money for Me & Dee.
From Queen to Katy Perry, from Michael Jackson to Journey
we look forward to providing an evening of songs and smiles.

Brought to you by our Year 2 children. Full of well-known songs, catchy tunes and party dances, the children have worked hard to ensure that their performance of “The Little Mermaid” goes swimmingly!

Thursday 18th July

Live House: featuring Kitten Pyramid & Crushing Blows

Burton’s own ‘Kitten Pyramid’ describe themselves as an Indie, Rock, Metal, Folk, Psychedelic Pop band Circus. Well known on Burton’s live music circuit the band also has appeared at Birmingham’s 02 Academy. With the bands Scott Marson’s skill in manipulating images to reflect the message of the songs we plan to include an 8ft video wall especially for this show.

‘Crushing Blows’ from Derby describe themselves as an Alternative, Experimental, Indie Pop, Psychedelic, Punk Band, always in demand they regularly play at venues in Derby, Sheffield and Nottingham to great acclaim. An appearance at T in the Park in 2011 resulted in the band gaining rave reviews from the BBC Introducing team. Their recent digital EP saw the band released 4 of their own tracks, all warmly received by music journalists and local radio stations. Plans for this year include appearing at the Y-not Festival. Ben Hughes & Guests

Presented by mADhOUSE music

Ben Hughes is an emerging singer
/songwriter whose melodic and accessible music transcends all ages in its appeal and has attracted an impressive number of new listeners and fans locally, nationally and internationally. His latest independent release Sketch was met with widespread praise and Ben is looking for new
opportunities over the coming months to showcase songs from the album as well as brand new material due for release next year.
