This month, our Monday morning Library Club meets on Monday 3rd June from 9:30am – 12:30pm. Come along to get some help choosing books and a chat over a cuppa.


Read All About It

Our new Wednesday afternoon book club takes place on Wednesday 5th June from 1:30pm – 2:30pm, so why not come and indulge your love of books? New members welcome.

Help Yourself Day

We’re also holding an event on Saturday 29th June all about how technology can help you live an easier life. This again is free to drop into, and will take place from 10am – 3pm in the library foyer. There will be plenty of gadgets to browse and buy!


Reading Cafe

This month, we’re meeting on Tuesday 25th June for a chat about books you love with our friendly library staff. There’s n Oriental theme this month, with fiction from the Far East ready for the summer! Drop by from 10am – 12pm for free refreshments, free books, and some great ideas for what to read next.


Stephen Booth Author Event

We’re pleased to have a visit from top crime writer Stephen Booth on Thursday 27th June. He’ll be talking about his latest book Already Dead, released in June, and will bring some books to sell and sign. The event will start at 7pm and tickets will be £2 for library members or £3 for non-members.



Our summer booksale starts on Saturday 1st June, so drop in then to grab a bargain! Adult Fiction and Children’s books will be on sale.
