Barton Library Craft Fair

 After the success of our Christmas gift and craft fair we are having another! Come along on Saturday 2nd March 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. Come and join us for a fun packed day. Locally handmade crafts and gifts with items to suit every pocket including Rag Rugs, Love Letters, Stitch Galore, The Duchess Bakery and Fanny’s Attic.

 Children’s Activities, face painting, raffle prizes to be won and refreshments available throughout the day. Find unique Mother’s day gifts you wont find anywhere else. Say thank you to your mum and treat her to something a little different. FREE ENTRY !! Come along !

 Barton Library Reading Group

The next Library Reading group meeting will take place on Wednesday 6th March at 10.00 am , new members are always welcome. This month we will be discussing The Other Side of You by Salley Vickers. If you haven’t got time to read this months book then why not join us on Wednesday 3rd April where will be reading Tuesday’s War by David Fiddimore


 Barton Library Art Circle

 Every MONDAY during term time only, Barton library welcomes artist to join the Barton Library Art Circle. A relaxed atmosphere where you can come and paint, including watercolours and acrylics. Free event, no need to book – just come along. Monday’s 10.00 am – 12 noon. New members welcome!


Knit & Knatter

A fun, free regular event held at Barton Library for those who love to knit and knatter at the same time. All abilities welcome, relaxed atmosphere with refreshments available. No need to book, just come along the group is held every Thursday 10.00 am – 12.30 noon.



New to Barton Library – Cr’afterschool. A FREE family craft session that is FUN for all the family after school including patchwork, crochet, embroidery and sewing ! Plus much more! A great activity for after school. Last year the group made a variety of crafts including cushions, teddy bears and cards. All abilities welcome! Table games to keep everyone occupied & refreshments available. Cr’afterschool is held every Thursday from 3.30 pm to 5pm at Barton Library.



A free family craft session that is for all the family to enjoy. A chance to learn traditional needlework and crafting skills with like-minded people a fun and friendly atmosphere where books and computers are readily available along with refreshments, disabled facilities and free parking! From Patchwork to crochet, embroidery, knitting and sewing ! All abilities welcome! Every Thursday 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm.


Crafts Unlimited

A free event that involves unlimited craft from needlecraft, crochet, card making and scrap-booking. A relaxed setting, with refreshments, like-minded people and a chance to share tips and ideas. Every Friday 10.00 am to 12.30 noon . All abilities welcome.
